About me
Tin Zaw has been an OWASP volunteer since 2010, starting as the president of Los Angeles chapter for 3 years. Since 2015, he's been a co-leader of the OWASP Automated Threats Project. Along with Colin Watson, they have released versions 1.2 and 1.3 of the handbook and are working on the version 2.0.
Until recently, he was the director of technical product management for cybersecurity products at Verizon, a global telecommunications company and publisher of Data Breach Investigations Report. He has decades of experience in cybersecurity, having worked at companies such as QUALCOMM, Symantec, AT&T and Intuit. He holds MS (Computer Science) and MBA degrees from University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
